Fighting Misinformation: Who Should Be Responsible For Misinformation on Social Media?

Should we regulate/monitor misinformation on social media? How? Who’s responsibility is it? There is SO MUCH — from people misrepresenting or completely making up research to faking or overexaggerating credentials. In my opinion, it is a danger to society — like some of these “facts” or “truths” that get around could cause harm. Where do we draw the line?
