Do this 1 thing to improve your survey questions
If you only do one thing before launching your next survey, let it be this: Ask someone to read through your questions and think aloud about how they’d respond. Literally have the person read each question and answer choice out loud and then narrate all the thoughts they are having as they think through and choose their answer.
I have never gone through this process and not made a change that dramatically improved my survey question. You will learn so much. Trust me. You might not think the question is confusing, or you may believe you have covered all your bases with your answer choices ... be ready to be surprised!
