Wanna share? (I do!)

Last week we talked about goals; this week I want to talk about what I call shareables—the clear learnings or takeaways you want to be able to speak to, use to make decisions, or report (share) for each goal.

Crafting your shareables before you write your survey questions is a gamechanger. For each goal you have, you want to write out a shareable (or two or three).

It can be helpful to start with the end in mind: What do you hope to be able to say with the data from your survey?

For example: I want to share how much people like my product, how easy people think it is to use my product, or how good people think I am at presenting.

Not only will having shareables make writing your survey questions easier, but it will also make analysis a breeze. More on that next week :)

Did I mention my book (out tomorrow) covers every step of survey design from blank page to reporting? Because it does.

Map out your shareables, and watch your survey magic happen!
