How to Write Great Survey Questions | Makeover for Qualtrics

Another day, another review of a survey I've come across in the wild… Today it's a poll that Qualtrics -- one of the BEST survey platforms (in my opinion) -- released on LinkedIn. I use Qualtrics. Most of my clients use Qualtrics. I’ll continue to use Qualtrics for surveying because I love the platform. So, I’m a fan… I’m also annoyed by reports like this. I think this is another great example of why “research” needs to include wayyyyy more context and have greater transparency when it is shared and reported. You can read the findings below or click the link. Here is what they share about their methodology: “This study was fielded between Feb. 18 and Feb. 22, 2022. Respondents were selected from a randomized panel and considered eligible if they live in the United States, are at least 18 years of age and are employed full time. The total number of respondents was 1,050. Respondents who did not pass quality standards were removed.” **Personally - I don’t think that is enough information for me to make an informed decision about how relevant or trustworthy this data is for me or anyone making decisions.**
