Survey Design 101 | Pilot Test Your Questions

If you only do 1 thing to improve the questions you ask. Do this. Spoiler alert, it's super simple. Take that quiz, survey, feedback form, questionnaire, whatever it is. Take it and sit down with someone who represents the type of person you are planning on asking these questions (think: age, profession, gender, geographic location... key characteristics!). Ask them to literally read the entire thing out loud to you -- the questions AND answer choices -- and narrate what they're thinking to you they read through and try to pick their answer. You'll be AMAZED at how much you can learn!

Watch this video to learn what you NEED to do to improve your questions ASAP and how to put the tip into action.
